An Indigenous-led network of consultants supporting community-rooted systems change.

Joyce Leppington Consulting (JLC) is an Indigenous-led network of consultants who collaborate to deliver workshops, training, facilitation, and advisory services grounded in Coast Salish teachings. Our work supports Indigenous communities, organizations, and individuals in strengthening cultural safety, relational practice, leadership, and accountability across multiple sectors.

What Is JLC?

JLC is a network of Indigenous consultants working collaboratively, not a single consultant or a one-size-fits-all practice.

Our network brings together Indigenous professionals with diverse expertise, lived experience, and cultural knowledge. We work intentionally, matching the right people to the right work, and ensuring every project is carried with care, cultural grounding, and relational accountability.

We work both independently and in kinship with our brother organization, Len Pierre Consulting, allowing us to support projects of varying scale while maintaining strong community relationships and shared responsibility.

What We Do

Through our consulting network, JLC offers:

  • Workshops & Custom Curriculum: We deliver interactive, culturally grounded workshops and custom curriculum that move beyond lecture-based learning. Sessions are designed to support reflection, dialogue, and practical application tailored to community and organizational needs.

  • Keynotes: Our keynotes are story-based, reflective, and grounded in lived experience. Through narrative, relational insight, and truth-telling, we invite audiences into deeper understanding and meaningful conversation.

  • Advisory Services: We provide ongoing and project-based advisory support, including policy development and review, organizational development, leadership coaching, strategic planning, and alignment with TRC Calls to Action, UNDRIP, and sector standards.

  • Creative, Artistic & Cultural Design: We work alongside art consultants and cultural practitioners to support Indigenous-led artistic and cultural design, including murals, carvings, banners, logos, and visual elements that contribute to culturally safer and more meaningful spaces.

  • Projects & Engagements: JLC supports special projects and custom engagements that may combine multiple services, such as curriculum development paired with facilitation, conference or retreat design, and community-led initiatives shaped by specific goals and contexts.

  • Holistic & Relational Wellness: We offer holistic, connection-based wellness experiences that centre care as relational and collective. These offerings are well-suited for retreats, conferences, and gatherings where presence, dignity, and connection are prioritized.

  • Youth & Community Programming: We deliver youth-focused workshops and community programming that support identity, leadership, life skills, and wellbeing. Programming is engaging, accessible, and grounded in relational accountability and lived experience.

  • Financial Wellness: We provide culturally grounded financial wellness education, including financial literacy, budgeting, and systems navigation. This work supports individual, youth, and community wellbeing as part of long-term sustainability.

Our work is responsive, relational, and shaped by the needs of the people we walk alongside.

Our Network

JLC’s network includes consultants with backgrounds in health care, education, public service, emergency response, finance, Coast Salish art, child welfare, youth development, business development, construction, MMIW2S+ advocacy, cultural practices, food sovereignty, and more.

We also collaborate with Indigenous artists, knowledge holders, and creatives as part of our network, ensuring that cultural teachings, visual storytelling, and community perspectives are woven into the work in respectful and meaningful ways.

How We Work

Our work is guided by a simple principle: connection before intention.

We prioritize relationships, shared accountability, and learning that leads to action. Rather than offering prescriptive solutions, we support communities, organizations, and individuals through processes that are reflective, relational, and grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing and being.

Who We Work With

We walk alongside:

  • Indigenous communities, Nations, and Indigenous-led organizations
  • Indigenous individuals, leaders, and emerging individuals
  • Community-based organizations, businesses and nonprofits
  • Public service, government, and Crown agencies
  • Health care, education, and social service organizations
  • Corporate and professional teams seeking accountable, culturally grounded learning
